Software Engineer - .NET / Web Portal
Information Technology | CA, United States

Job Description:
We're searching for those rare developers who are driven, self-motivated and excited about technology.  When you find yourself blocked by a technical problem or unclear requirements, do you send an email and wait for the next weekly meeting?  Or do you get up from your desk, find the person with answers and clear your own way forward?  Are you the developer who waits for the architect to tell you how to do something?  Or are you the sort who writes up your own proof of concept and is excited to show off how it works?  Do you keep up to date on the latest tools and trends?  Do you look at code reviews as an opportunity to sharpen your own skills as well as broaden the rest of the team's?  If you were asked to write an application on a platform you knew nothing about, would you view it as a hassle, or an exciting chance to learn something new?  Do you take pride in writing tight, reusable code?  Do you view talking with end users as a pain, or a chance to make sure your application is right on target?
Hopefully you noticed that there's no mention of specific languages in all that.  In addition growing in scale, we're also growing in scope.  We primarily focus on SQL Server, MYSQL, objective C and Android development.  If you happen to be an extraordinary rails or php or VB developer who is excited about the idea of learning C# and developing on a variety of platforms, then you're probably just the kind of engineer we're looking for.
